Dr. Bosco Chan, Specialist in Pediatrics
MBBS (HK), MMed (Paed)(Singapore), MRCPCH(UK), FHKCPaed, FHKAM(Paed), DCH (HK)(HKCPaed), DCH(International)(RCPCH), DPD (Cardiff)

Dr Chan graduated from The University of Hong Kong and obtained his Master degree in Paediatrics at the National University of Singapore. He underwent his postgraduate training under the Department of Paediatrics of Princess Margaret Hospital, and received higher training in child neurology, developmental and behavioural medicine in Princess Margaret Hospital, Child Psychiatry Unit of Kwai Chung Hospital and Child Assessment Centre of Department of Health.

Dr Chan is active in giving public and professional educational talks including child behavioural and developmental problems, autistic spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, parenting and other common paediatric problems. He is now the Honorary Consultant Paediatrician at Hong Kong Baptist Hospital

Ms. Ellen Fok, Educational Psychologist

Ms. Ellen Fok is a Registered Educational Psychologist in United Kingdom and Hong Kong. She graduated from the University of Alberta (Canada) with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree, majoring in Psychology. She also obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree at the University of Manchester (the United Kingdom) and a Master of Educational and Child Psychology (M.E.C.P.) degree at the Hong Kong Polytechnics University (Hong Kong). Ms. Fok is also accredited by the University of Queensland (Australia) as a training provider of the "Positive Parenting Programme" (or "Triple P"). Ms. Fok was trained and has worked with non-government organisations, kindergartens and the Education Bureau; she provides psychological assessment and educational consultation services for children and has ample experience with gifted, intellectually-disabled, dyslexic children, children with autistic features, and also those with various other special needs. Ms. Fok currently also provides consultation and support services to kindergartens-cum-nurseries, and special child care center (SCCC) operated by a non-profit organization in Hong Kong. Ms. Fok has a particular interest in serving parents and their children with learning difficulties.


 
 

Wendy Tsang, M.A., BCBA, Programme Supervisor

Miss Wendy Tsang is a behavioral consultant with over 20 years of experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). She has an extensive background in program development, practical experience in working with children with special needs, therapist and parent training and support. She was trained by Dr. Doreen Granpeesheh, a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology. Miss Tsang’s training was based upon the application of Verbal Behavior and Applied Behavior Analysis. Miss Tsang completed her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Child Development and Masters of Arts (M.A.) in Early Childhood Special Education at California State University, Northridge. She is also a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA).


 
 

Dr. Chui Shiu Hon, Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner

Dr. Chui is a well-recognized distinguished professional in research, medical and business operations.  He obtained his first doctoral degree in Clinical Biochemistry from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1990 and his second doctoral degree in Chinese Medicine from the Hong Kong Baptist University in 2004.  Dr. Chui is a Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Science (UK) and a Fellow and Chartered Chemist as well as Chartered Scientist of the Royal Society of Chemistry (UK). He was a Principal Lecturer in Medical Laboratory Science at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and was also appointed as Research Fellow in the Faculty of Chinese Medicine at Hong Kong Baptist University as well as a Member of the Board of Studies of the School of Chinese Medicine, University of Hong Kong.  He joined the Macau Institute for Applied Research in Medicine and Health (MIAR) as Deputy Director and is a Visiting Professor of the Faculty of Chinese Medicine in the Macau University of Science and Technology. 

Dr. Chui is also the Managing Director of Diagnostix Medical Centre Ltd, CEO of Modern TCM Ltd, Diagnostix Food Testing Ltd and Diagnostix Chinese Medicine Testing Ltd.  He is a Consultant Clinical Biochemist, Accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist, and Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner of HKSAR with over 18 years of clinical experience having encountered over 100,000 patient consultations.  His medical laboratories were among the first in Hong Kong to acquire international accreditation by the National Association of Testing Authorities of Australia (NATA) and the Hong Kong Laboratory Accreditation Service (HOKLAS).  His clinics in Chinese medicine were also one of the first in Hong Kong to be awarded ISO accreditation (Consultation and Drug Dispense) by the British Standards Institute (BSI).  He is also running the first Chinese medicine out-patient clinic in a Hong Kong non-profit making Catholic hospital (Precious Blood Hospital).  Over recent years, Dr. Chui has been leading many clinical trails in integrated western and Chinese medicines, utilizing laboratory parameters to reflect the therapeutic effects of different Chinese medicine formulae on various clinical conditions including aging, vascular damage, liver cirrhosis, Parkinsons’s disease, metabolic syndrome, allergic rhinitis and infertility etc and published in international journals over 20 papers on such research studies.   

 

 

 

Cheung Leong, MBA, BBA, Council member & Deputy Chairman of Court, Lingnan University

Mr Cheung received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he later taught strategy for five years as part-time lecturer. He is co-founder, Chairman & CEO of RunOurCity, a social enterprise dedicated to transform life through running. Prior to that, he was operating partner of Bain Capital, Managing Director of Global Sourcing & Supply Chain at Esquel Group, the founder and CEO of an Internet start-up and a senior consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. Mr. Cheung is a founding member and director of 30s Group and Social Venture Hong Kong (SVHK). He is a Council member and Deputy Chairman of Court of the Lingnan University. He also serves in the Advisory Committee of the Quality Migrant Admission Scheme. 

 

 

 

Victor Wong, MPAcc, BA(Hons), MHKIoD, Head of School

Mr. Wong is passionate about enjoyment of education. He strongly believes that children with learning challenges can discover their true potential if schools provide the right environment and remain relentlessly focused on providing high quality of teaching. His passion drives him in founding Bridge Academy and gathering people with the same inspiration. He is responsible for formulating strategic direction of Bridge Academy and overseeing the education and administrative teams. Mr. Wong is also a director of VKN Capital in Hong Kong. He is responsible for sourcing investment opportunities, leading transaction team in due diligence and deal structuring. With 14 years of industry and consulting experience, Mr. Wong led many companies and their stakeholders through periods of changes in Asia. His primary areas of concentration are executive management, formulation of business strategies, performance improvement, operational turnarounds and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Wong has worked with clients across a range of industries including education, financial services, energy, utilities, manufacturing, hi- tech, real estate, media, telecommunications and retail. Prior to joining VKN Capital, Mr. Wong spent 8 years with Alvarez and Marsal. He was a senior member of the Asian team that successfully managed the global restructuring of Lehman Brothers real estate and non-performing loan assets. In particular, he managed Lehman Brothers’ office and safeguarded its assets and interests in Korea. Mr. Wong holds a master’s degree in accounting from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has been a guest lecturer of the MBA Programme of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is also a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors.


 
 

Hilda Ngo, B.Comm, Finance Major, Administrative Manager 

Ms. Ngo has over 10 years of work experience including a wealth of experience in education administration. She was instrumental in assisting with the establishment of two Educational Institutions in Hong Kong: The Children’s Institute and The Harbour School. Her main responsibilities included managing daily operations of the school, liaising with parents, staff, students and external organizations (including government and private sectors), school communications, invoice, expenses, budgeting and forward planning. Other responsibilities also included, but were not limited to, registration of the school, assisting with staff member’s employment visas, annual tax returns and M.P.F. scheme. Ms. Ngo is uniquely experienced in handling the particular challenges faced by new schools individually and independently. She was the “troubleshooter” for the organizations, assisting in overcoming a range of difficulties the institutions experienced. She is also an experienced event coordinator, having assisted with the running of several fundraising events and school-based functions.
