Bridge Academy understands a
positive, pleasant
and comfortable learning
environment contributes to a great
amount to a child's success. With that in mind, we have put
a lot of thought into designing our facility to provide the most
comfortable and safe learning environment.
Music
According to research, when music is used with children, it could
improve their social behaviours, attention and communication skills,
reduce anxiety, and improve body awareness and coordination. We
play
research-based
music in our school.
Furniture
Having the right equipment for students is an important factor
in
a child's comfort and safety. We carefully choose our furniture to
cater
to the
different needs of our children. All of our tables and chairs are
certified
as not releasing any
harmful toxins.
Height adjustable
tables
Our height adjustable tables, which can be easily adjusted according
to our students’ needs, provide the most comfortable and healthy
working posture for our students.
Contoured Chair
As a
child spends most of the time during the day sitting on a chair,
having a comfortable chair will assist
the
child in staying focused
on the task at hand. We
use
specially designed contoured chairs which allow comfortable sitting
throughout the day.
Lighting
We pay
attention to every detail, including
matters that might be considered minor, such as
lighting. Children are very responsive to lighting.
According to
research, the use of lighting can greatly help a child to increase
social behaviours, attention
and
communication skills. It can also reduce
anxiety, improve body awareness and coordination. Our designed
lighting can be adjusted to cater for every need during the day.
Playroom / Quiet
Room
We understand that children experience frustration from time to
time. Providing a safe and quiet room for the children to re-adjust
themselves is essential in restoring the learning sentiment. Our
Playroom / Quiet room is carefully designed with safety padded
walls, soothing music and lighting for the children when they feel
frustrated.
